Entrusted by the third Department of Chemical Science of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the 2021 Symposium on Polymer Materials Chemistry, sponsored by Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was successfully held in Changchun, Jilin Province on September 26-29, 2021.

The conference reported the latest research achievements and academic ideas in the field of polymer material chemistry from the two major topics of high performance and ecological environment polymer material chemistry and polymer functional material chemistry.

The meeting discussed the development trends, hot spots and difficult scientific issues in the field of polymer materials chemistry, and defined the key elements and priorities for the future development of polymer materials chemistry in China, which promoted the development of polymer materials chemistry in China.
